- 300g strawberries, hulled and halved
- 100ml tequila
- 100ml Cointreau
- 3 limes, juice only
- ½ tsp salt
- Ice cubes
- 500ml soda water
- Salt for the rims of the glasses
- Liquidise the strawberries until smooth and stir with the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and salt. Add ice to a jug and pour the strawberry margarita mixture over.
- Stir then top with the soda. Prepare the glasses by dipping them upside-down in a saucer of water then a saucer of salt.
