This makes a super-festive gift and a warming treat during winter months. It’s best made at least two weeks before drinking to allow the flavours to develop fully. Makes four bottles at just under 200ml each. 36p per 25ml shot
- 750ml Morrisons gin
- 8 star anise
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 20 cloves
- 2 oranges, pared zest only
- 100g caster sugar
- 100g cranberries
- Pour the gin into a large saucepan and add all the other ingredients. Place the pan on a very low heat and allow to warm through for 5 minutes, stirring continuously so the sugar melts.
- Remove from the heat and divide the mixture between 4 x 250ml glass bottles. Seal and label as mulled gin.
